A fun game that most people can enjoy, just not me
Good games for the PSP are hard to come by these days. So when I played Daxter I was hoping for the best. I heard many PSPers excited about Daxter and even read many reviews praising this game (I’m so ashamed I needed other people’s opinions to review this). What did I find when I played it? I think all those gamers have forgotten what an excellent game is.
I can’t be too critical of it though. …

Episodes invade!
Finally, an episode that doesn’t suck like Star Wars Episode II, is more exciting than an episode of Matlock, and just as crazy as that one episode you had when you found out the kid you’ve been raising for the past 10 years wasn’t actually yours. Don’t worry, this one game might just make you forget about the whole incident–it’s that good.
Picking up right at the end of Half-Life 2, Episode One throws the story into overdrive as you and Alyx and Dog go on the mission to …

Feel like playing a naughty game? Do us a favor and play this instead of strip poker. No one wants to see that.
Throughout video game history, there have been a number of exceedingly appropriate titles for games: God of War was war-like, Doom sent you to Hell, Devastation was devastating, and The Guy Game was… stupid. Wait, what?… Enter stage right SiN: Emergence. I feel I need to go to Confession after playing this game, and I’m not even Catholic. Extravagant Boobies, excessive swearing, …

I wish I could find a good MMO
So I was looking for a distraction from school this one time and thought to myself, “Hey, an MMO would be nice!” Thus the search began to find a MMO that I could actually get into and wouldn’t abandon my characters after a month or so. What I found, however, was The Matrix Online.
I started actually playing this game during beta testing and thoroughly enjoyed it. What made it so fun was not necessarily the gameplay–it was more the community. …

Saving the world, as usual
“Surely you can’t be serious?! Little ol’ me is going to save the world?” Ok, so it isn’t exactly original. …

Who knew cleaning could be so fun?!
Oh Leon, you middle man in the Luc Besson trio, how you entertain! You may not be as French as Nikita or as Bruce as Korben, but you make up for it in your milk bingeing, plant loving, badass-ness. Who else could make hundreds of SWAT guys crap themselves in fear (excluding Richard Simmons and Chuck Norris that is)? If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then you need to see this movie (or maybe I need to see …

Stupid monkeys…
What do you get when you throw together a giant gaming company like EA, a developer like Dice, and tons of money and manpower? A whole mess of ruined expectations is what. Being the most anticipated first person shooter of 2005 on pc, it really knows how to piss me off. But it provides a good example of how people will continue to play a game when there are better ones out there. So let the hate mail pour in and cover the children’s ears and eyes! EA’s ugly …

Being the movie that started my addiction to Luc Besson, The Fifth Element is probably his best known work. But because something is well known does not mean it is well received. This movie is often criticized as being Besson’s weakest attempt at character and plot development, especially when compared to other films such as La Femme Nikita or Leon The Professional. Though their point may be valid, I don’t believe this movie was meant to be like his others–this has the same characters we have seen many times …
